7 New Highlights for the Already-Impressive Waterman Float Ball

Highlight 1 — Action Camera Mount

Action camera mount: With a quick-release buckle, you can have your action camera capture complete footage of your ascent and breathing preparation at the surface.

Highlight 2 — Internal Structural Webbing

Internal structural webbing: The newly added internal webbing reinforces the float ball's structure and prevents the inner bladder from popping out if the lid is accidentally left open. With the internal webbing in place, even without closing the lid, you can fit up to 40–60 m of rope inside. When placing an underwater camera inside, you can also thread the buckle through the webbing for a secondary layer of security.

Highlight 3 — Stainless Steel Ring at the Inner Bottom

Stainless steel ring at the inner bottom: You can clip one end of your rope to this ring so you don't accidentally let the whole rope go when you're in the zone — it also helps reduce tangles and messy knots on the sides.

Side external attachment points: Compatible with D-rings, and can also be used to thread through a snorkel.

Deflation valve cover: Over two years of sales, we received a small number of reports of the deflation valve being triggered accidentally, or its cover flying off. Please take note — the deflation valve should never be twisted open! The correct way to use the deflation valve is to pull the small cord on top; it is not meant to be unscrewed.

The third-generation Waterman Float Ball introduces a new deflation valve cover that acts as a cute foolproof device. It also allows the guide rope on the side to be neatly stowed inside, reducing the risk of students accidentally pulling the guide rope in a panic when surfacing.

Highlight 6 — Auto-Deflate Tool

Auto-deflate tool: The third-generation Waterman Float Ball's mouthpiece clip now includes a function that locks onto an auto-deflate mechanism, allowing the float ball to deflate on its own while you pack up your other gear.

The outer buckle can also be used to attach fins for No-Fin training.
