ATMOS Global New Product Launch
This time, ATMOS is launching two new colors simultaneously worldwide — "Steel Red" and "Ocean Blue." On top of that, the software is receiving a major update that everyone has been eagerly anticipating. Let us at 半島海人 give you an exclusive first look! (There are plenty of gorgeous real-world photos of the watch in use throughout this article — if you're worried about getting too tempted, you may want to look away now.)

The newly released colors are sure to drive color-loving divers absolutely wild. But what truly impressed us most is the mobile APP update, which adds a social community feature exclusively for divers integrated right into the dive log — a genuinely cool idea!

ATMOS Cloud Dive Log
We can look forward to more users being willing to share their dive logs on the platform, giving divers a much better channel for connecting with one another.
In the past, filling in a dive log always felt like it lacked a bit of motivation. Even though many dive computers have long offered the ability to sync dive logs to a computer or APP, only a small portion of users were willing to spend the extra time doing so.

The social community feature offered by the new ATMOS APP doesn't conflict with platforms like Instagram or Facebook that you might immediately think of. Because it was developed specifically for divers, it gives people with a shared passion a dedicated space to connect and share.

Once you sync your dive computer's logs to your phone, you can edit your dive log on the APP and then choose whether to make it public in the settings. Dive logs set to public are visible to all ATMOS APP users!

Additionally, the scuba diving log functionality now includes an automatic SAC (Surface Air Consumption) calculation feature. Simply enter the starting pressure, ending pressure, and scuba tank / cylinder volume when editing your dive log, and you'll get a figure calculated from your dive profile.
While this is an average across the entire dive, if you maintained a relatively steady breathing rhythm and movement style throughout, the value will be quite reliable.

Experience & Impressions
Whether you're a scuba diver or a freediver, ATMOS is clearly attentive to real user experience. Take the freediving log, for example — with other brands' dive computers, the reading experience was poor because every individual freediving record appeared as a separate sub-entry, meaning you had to keep scrolling past all that data just to look back at dives from a couple of days ago. With ATMOS, freediving logs from the same session are grouped together in a single log entry, making it far more convenient to review your dive history on the dive computer.
As a user who has been with ATMOS for over a year, you can really feel how dedicated the entire team is to developing and maintaining this product. From design to manufacturing, everything is completed in Taiwan, and they have continually invested resources into innovations that are truly groundbreaking in the world of dive computers. To ensure a better user experience, any minor firmware issues that are reported get fixed quickly.

As for the mobile APP development — although this isn't one of the primary reasons most people choose to buy a dive computer, the team has invested even more effort and time simply to give all ATMOS users a richer diving experience.
Thanks to the new social community feature, divers are brought closer together. Every time we open the app, we can easily see dive logs shared by other users. Through the photo feature in each log, you can discover what unique marine life or special underwater topography exists at a particular dive site.
Of course, important dive information such as depth and sea conditions is also included, serving as a useful reference when planning your next dive trip.
A big thank you to the ATMOS Team for giving the dive computer an exciting and entirely new dimension.
