ATMOS Global Simultaneous New Product Launch
This time, ATMOS has launched two new colors simultaneously worldwide — "Steel Red" and "Ocean Blue." On top of that, the software has received a highly anticipated major update. Let 半島海人 give you an exclusive first look! (This article is packed with gorgeous real-world watch photos — consider yourself warned before scrolling any further.)

The newly released colors are sure to drive color-loving divers absolutely wild. But what truly impressed us most is the mobile app update, which adds a community feature built specifically for divers right inside the dive log — and it's a genuinely cool idea!

ATMOS Cloud Dive Log
We can look forward to more users being willing to share their dive logs on the platform, creating a richer channel for divers to connect and exchange with one another.
In the past, filling out a dive log always felt like it lacked a bit of motivation. Even though many dive computers have long offered the ability to sync dive logs to a computer or app, only a small fraction of users were willing to spend the extra time doing it.

The community feature in the new ATMOS app is not a replacement for Instagram or Facebook — it coexists alongside them. Because it was developed specifically for divers, it gives people who share the same passion a dedicated platform to connect and share.

Once you sync your dive computer's log to your phone, you can edit your dive log entries on the app and then choose whether to make them public in the settings. Any dive log set to public is visible to all ATMOS app users!

In addition, for scuba diving logs, the app now includes an automatic SAC (Surface Air Consumption) calculation feature. Simply enter the starting pressure, ending pressure, and scuba tank / cylinder volume when editing your dive log, and the app will calculate your SAC rate based on your dive profile.
While this figure represents an average across the entire dive, it will be highly reliable if you maintained a relatively consistent breathing rhythm and level of exertion throughout the dive.

User Experience Impressions
Whether you're a scuba diver or a freediver, ATMOS clearly puts a great deal of care into the real-world user experience. For example, with freediving logs, the reading experience on other brands' dive computers has historically been poor — each individual freediving session is logged as a separate sub-entry, meaning that if you want to review your dive log from two days ago, you have to keep skipping through all those individual records. ATMOS, however, groups all freediving entries from the same session into a single log entry, making it much more convenient to review your dive log directly on the dive computer.
As someone who has been using ATMOS for over a year, I can feel how much dedication the team puts into developing and maintaining this product. From design to manufacturing, everything is completed right here in Taiwan. They continuously invest resources into innovations that are genuinely first-of-their-kind in the world of dive computers. And whenever any minor firmware issue is reported, it gets fixed quickly — all in the name of delivering a better user experience.

As for the mobile app development — while it was never one of the primary reasons people choose to buy a dive computer, ATMOS has poured even more effort and time into it simply because they want every ATMOS user to enjoy a richer diving experience.
Thanks to the new community feature, divers feel closer to one another than ever. Every time we open the app, we can effortlessly browse dive logs shared by other users. Through the log's photo feature, you can find out what marine life or unique underwater topography exists at a particular dive site.
Of course, important dive data such as depth and sea conditions are also included, giving you a useful reference when planning your next dive destination.
A huge thank you to the ATMOS Team for giving the dive computer an exciting new dimension. If you'd like to learn more about this watch, feel free to visit 半島海人 — our team of instructors will walk you through it personally, and you can even take it for a test dive underwater to experience the ATMOS difference for yourself!
