Pairing a GoPro with a selfie stick eliminates the heavy burden — both financial and physical — of bulkier gear. I've long since gotten into the habit of taking it everywhere, from mountain trails to the ocean. With the Snapseed app, I can handle all my photo editing right on the road.
Quick GoPro Color Grading Tips
First, download the handy Snapseed app:

- Open the Snapseed app and tap to open a photo from your device.

- Your photo will appear on screen. This shot was taken using the Protune setting, which gives it a flat, muted look. Any diver will immediately recognize this was taken at Green Island — it was actually the very first photo I ever shot with a GoPro.

- Select the HDR Scape filter — it's personally one of my favorites. It quickly boosts image detail and saturation in one step.

- Press and hold the screen to bring up the parameter dialog box, or tap the adjustment button at the bottom. Adjust the filter strength, brightness, and saturation to suit your needs — you'll notice the image tones become noticeably richer.

- Tap on "Tune Image."

- Try adjusting the White Balance parameter to shift the image toward cool or warm tones.

- Experiment with the Shadows and Contrast parameters to enhance the overall light-to-dark contrast of the image.

-
Snapseed also offers a selection of built-in presets you can apply directly for a specific look — for example, try choosing "Morning." If you've shot multiple photos under the same lighting conditions, you can select "Last Edit..." to quickly apply the same filter settings to different photos.
-
Once you're happy with the result, tap "Save a Copy." This setting preserves all the adjustments you've made while also allowing you to revert to the original at any time.

GoPro's lightweight, compact form factor makes it perfect for divers to take underwater for activity documentation, and it works equally well across a wide range of extreme sports.
